You would be able to sacrifice his life for someone else? And if a child?
The answer may be obvious, but what about when it actually happens?
A Brazilian had this terrible dilemma in hand, Patricia.
She had breast cancer, but with treatment, doctors gave illness as cured, that's when she met Philip, with whom fell in love.
3 months after dating came the terrible news, the disease had returned.
Weeks after starting treatment again, she knew she was pregnant.
Between happiness and sadness of the couple, came the question. The doctor presented an "ultimatum", or she abortava and continue treatment to control the disease, and she stopped the treatment, and had the baby, but doing it, there was a risk of life for her.
What did she do? She chose to have the baby.
Even though the risk of life, she wanted to have the baby, and was through with that decision.
Even following the doctor straight, disease progression was inevitably fast.
In 15 days the treatment was stopped, the picture has worsened and the cancer has spread.
Patricia, gave birth to Arthur, the sixth month of pregnancy, and a week later she died, Arthur's father, Felipe, said as the baby was premature and had to stay in the incubator for observation, Patricia had not the chance to hold his son, but can even know it, look at it and see that it was good.
Today father and son are doing well, even after the whirlwind of emotions, they passed to almost a year.
I can say that this story really moved me and Patricia is really a real mother, and I say that not everyone who really have the courage to choose what she chose.
But a very similar story happened in Oklahoma, a woman named Stacie CRIMM, 41, she had brain tumor and neck, and was still in age of risk, but that does not stop her from having her daughter, Dottie Mae, which He was also born premature, with just over 1 kg.
Dottie After being stabilized, she was taken to the mother, 18 days after birth, where he stayed several minutes in his lap, but three days later, Stacie dies due to the tumor.
These women truly deserve applause for their courage and for showing how far does the love of a mother.
I hope you enjoyed !!
